I just tried this soap mold (before using a silicone bread mold. Not fun nor easy) and it's great! The silicone liner means you don't have to line it, and the wooden box means it won't flex on the sides and distort shape. The lip of the silicone part tends to droop down a bit, but I found it easy enough to just snap back into place after pouring the batter in, although this can make filling the top a little tricky.
