Much more difficult than I expected and surprisingly boring. I've used it 3 times and it only rips off the tip of the wick as opposed to a clean cut. Does the job I think.

I like its weight. The curvature allows for more precise cutting. The round bottom catches the loose piece of wick after cutting so it doesn't fall back into the candle. This is a solid, shiny device.

After using this bucket and wick I don't want to do anything else. When you dip the wick, it stays straight instead of bent and curled. We blow on the wicks, but nothing more. This wick bucket is easy to use and you will not have the bad smell of burnt wick in the house when putting out the fire.

It's not heavy metal, but it doesn't seem necessary. Works well in a standard depth candle. although probably not in one of those foot-high cylindrical glass candles. I didn't know about this tool until I happened to see it and ordered a pack of two. A repeat order is possible

This is a durable and easy to use wick trimmer. Angled to reach wicks in candle jars and sharp enough to cut even new wicks before burning. A lovely neutral design that can be left on a counter or shelf if you are comfortable with that. A smooth, even cutting motion requires very little, if any, effort.

Bought just before Christmas to use with my candles. The most handy little tool I've ever bought! Works exactly as expected and looks great. Made of heavy metal. Now I don't have to inhale the smoke I used to inhale before using this because you can put out the flames instantly with this candle sniffer. I highly recommend buying this candle snuffer.

Thank God this product is strong. The packaging for this product was terrible. They put it in a box that was smaller than the product, so the product was sticking out of a hole in the corner of the box. Luckily the product is durable and didn't break. It's a beautiful rose gold color and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Good product but terrible delivery.

This wick trimmer is nice to have on hand but is quite bulky and awkward to use. As I started using more candles I thought this would be perfect BUT the angles you have to hold it at to get a good cut are awkward and uncomfortable. I bet this would be a great wick trimmer for someone who knows candles inside out and has used wick trimmers their whole life, but for a beginner this isn't the best option.
