👆 Dealmed 6-inch Cotton-Tipped Wooden Applicators, Non-Sterile (1000/Box) Review

If you just want a slightly softer stick, this is the tampon for you. If you want something that can absorb or hold liquid, choose something else. The end of the tampon is VERY densely packed leaving very little room for anything else. It can be made more absorbent by "ruffling" the tip to loosen the fibers. The wood is very thin and tends to break. The best option for this is to position it perfectly perpendicular to the surface. If it is at an angle, it will most likely break.

They can be used carefully, but do not hold pressure because the cotton wool detaches in hard-to-reach places. It's not good for cleaning guns, but probably better for marking them as medical equipment. They were looking for different gun cleaning items so I found them fitting.

Wow. 1000 cotton applicators, 10 packs of 100. I use them to gently clean PCB flux, cassette decks and reel to reel pins. Nothing special about the amount of cotton. The sticks are 6 inches long, not too strong, but they are not for scrubbing, they are for application, which is why there is an "applicator" in the product description.

I used to buy 6" Puritain tampons regularly and needed more so I looked up DealMed and assumed they were comparable. The wooden handles are Shinola! The Wooden sticks are VERY thin and break easily. Everyone I use can trust everyone else to break. The other DealMed products I've used are exceptional, but I hate those tampons and will definitely be using Puritain 806 in the future -Order WCL I mainly use it in electronics and repair/maintenance.
