Really poor workmanship of this product.! The old and cheap rubber and plastic tip did not and did NOT hold up to the ring size. I would not recommend this to anyone!. I wouldn't even let your kid break rocks in the yard.!.
This is one of the worst tools I have ever bought. Terrible craftsmanship, it's quirky. The hammer didn't even have a black rubber side, both were solid yellow. I won't be back just for the weird relief it can bring in the workplace. Worst purchase, please do not buy.
For less than $7, you'll get your money's worth with this nice scratch-resistant nylon/rubber mallet! , the sandwich bag with what was in your shopping cart also has rust in the head in the threads, note the threads are quite loose so the torque between the head (which may be dented like mine, which too like mine can be misaligned! ) It's pretty much the only thing keeping the heads from swinging when you hit the hammer! Good quality for the price. This was required to remove a twisted roll pin from a CZ75 slide. At first I couldn't move the pin with this hammer, but once I hit it on the frame a few times with the hammer, this hammer moved it more smoothly. The soft tips also allowed me to drive a new pin in flush with the bolt without damaging the finish. I can't imagine needing it more than a few times a year, but it's a good tool to have on hand.
Great for what you pay for. This is a really well balanced hammer perfect for the gunsmith. I unscrewed the hammer tips and found some rust on the surface as reported by another reviewer. This is irrelevant. If you can rub off the rust and reveal the raw metal underneath, it is just surface wear and will not affect the hammer's ability to function. and tightened it. Now he's hard as a rock. Now I can really mourn things without worrying about the hammer falling apart.
