Perforated pouches on food containers

Received these packages yesterday (07/10/2017) from Debbie Meyer. I opened a bag of one variety, took out a small bag and put some fruit in it, then I chose a very large bag and started putting apples in a bag and found the bag had a big hole, took that second bag and it was the same. The third bag was ok. It looks like the packets were cut with a utility knife; the cut was at an angle along the width of the pockets. The sack with the green sacks was not cut open; it is a manufacturing or…

Really good storage for fruit and veg

I bought these bags 3 or 4 years ago through a chain store and then a few years ago I received a defective order with no bottom sealing as they should have been. Eventually, they returned the money through a chain store, but promised not to buy them again. Then a few days ago my husband mentioned that we had a problem with too many garden veggies and suggested I look for them through Revain. Wow they were affordable and cheaper than what I had previously paid for! This is a really good product…

Does anyone know if these bags can save the body? i ask a friend

You and I are alike in many ways. I love swimming in cool water. You like to swim in cool water. I like to breed wild weasels for underground fights. You like to breed wild weasels for underground fights. But more importantly, I like FRESH stuff. And you like FRESH things. And we're not afraid to talk about it, are we? That's what separates us from all those hipsters with their bowler hats and mustache combs. Will we sit back and eat rubber products? Can we deal with wilted arugula? The answer…

They work great. Just keep them dry inside!

I was a consultant at Pampered Chef and I've been to a lot of food parties and although we didn't sell them I always mentioned them at food parties because they save money and cause less waste when used properly You eat away, and groceries last longer. But the key is to "keep them dry inside". You will get moisture in the bags and when you do, take out the contents, turn the bag over and put the food back in. Then just quickly wipe the moisture off the outside of the bag. Many grocery stores…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick guide

I've been using Debbie Meyer's Green Bags for about ten years and have seen first-hand which foods are preserved in Green Bags and which are spoiled. Berries like blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries are best left in the rigid plastic containers they shipped in, as GreenBags will lock in moisture and mold within a few days. A pouch that touches their skin will form mold. Stone fruits like peaches, nectarines, plums, and apricots are best stored in a bowl or plate in the…
