Simply beautiful and useful

I bought two of these because the first was in the house we sold earlier this year. Very simple and functional design, I use it for wine bottles although you can use it for rolled towels too. There were a couple of sharp ridges on the back of the second pillar that could be sanded down easily, I'm not deducting a star for that as the piece is otherwise pristine.

The perfect shabby chic towel holder. Definitely a rustic look.

Using mine in the bathroom - I have chalked and aged mine on mine. Pros: Looks great, inexpensive compared to home improvement stores, great for towels! So make sure you mark the holes. In addition, the shelves are inclined. Still, I'm giving five stars because I wanted a rustic look. If you use this as a wine rack it might drive you crazy.

  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Rating based on use as a towel rail

I bought this to use as a towel rail not for wine. However, they are not directly manufactured. They are slightly twisted and uneven. If you hang the top straight, the middle sections will be crooked on one, everything seems fine on the other. The compartments are not big enough for good towels but suitable for thin towels. I know some people use wine racks instead of towels these days so I wanted to share a review from that perspective.

Great for storing towels in tight spaces

I bought this for a bathroom to store towels. Hanging was very easy. I only used museum picture hangers. It's very light and perfect for my application, but I'm wondering if it actually holds 4 bottles of wine. The pair of curved "troughs" you placed the bottles in were crooked and have a rather odd finish. But again, for my application, I didn't think it really mattered.

  • Durable test results

OK but not for €30

I thought the shelf was beautiful and got great reviews so I decided to buy it. I received it today and it's not the best quality. Not worth $30. It's made from very thin scrap metal and the stand is so undersized that it was very difficult to hang it up without looking crooked. There is no rust, I believe this is rack style; rustic look. Also, it was very curved so I had to bend and straighten it to fit my closet snugly. Just note that he also scratched the wall of my closet when trying to…

  • Makes me happy

  • Not happy with everything

Four towels, no waiting.

Used as a towel rack (and who doesn't?) making towels easily accessible in a small guest bathroom where there was previously no space to store towels. Spotted Rust/Bronze looks pretty classy even against a champagne wall (see attached image). The length is just right for the place! I bought another wine and towel holder that was longer, but it was too long for the space required (and looked too flimsy!). It was easy to hang using the included hardware and was up and running in fifteen minutes…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Annoying
