DecoArt Americana Crystal Enamel 2 Ounce Review

I bought this based on a blog promoting it as a "permanent way to fix lenses". Eh, no. It's like liquid layer paint. Nothing sounds. It leaves washed out strokes of color that run like crazy. A complete waste of money. I could do a better job as a card sharper.

I wanted to paint an old clear glass lamp. My goal was to paint it the color of old antique blue glass. I also wanted the glass to be translucent after painting. I tested it on a jar first and decided I wanted it a little darker so I mixed it with black DecoArt paint until I was happy with the colour. love it! First of all, it is a translucent shine. They "tint" the glass, so if you want a solid color you should use regular acrylic paint. I see that one of the main complaints is the stripes. I personally had no streaks and they came out flawless like I bought pink tinted cans rather than tinting them myself!
