🎨 Versatile DecoArt Americana Stencil French Script: A Must-Have for Artistic Creations! Review

I used this to fix an old Lane chest and it turned out fantastic. This is now my stepdaughter's favorite piece in her house.

These are durable stencils and I really enjoy using them for my chalk drawing projects. Nothing to say about the stencils other than that they arrived in perfect condition, are thick and hold up after washing and I have no complaints about this purchase!

The picture on the box would lead you to believe it would give a sharp and clean picture, which is not true. The image is blurry, the letters are design features, not the font. I cut it out to emphasize certain words and try it that way.

Unpleasant because the color can "bleed" as soon as it is applied. But use a smear. I used a brush and it was much worse. Looks ok but I've had better luck with cheaper stencils. It's a thicker plastic, which is good, but "bends" letters, for example. Lines in f etc. bend slightly. So be careful.

I had one before but it burned down in a house fire and it was one of my favorite stencils. Very versatile, fun and easy to use! The only problem is being very careful not to thicken the paint in certain places and not to bend tiny parts when cleaning. I own many of these brands and LOVE them all.

I didn't know I was buying a French Stencil! I thought I'd get a fancy English cursive stencil. As I don't read French I'm not sure what it says so I'll have to try to translate it before using it. It's very beautiful and flexible, but it seems a little fragile. Also, I'm not sure how well it will hold up to repeated use or what types of ink etc can be used on it.

Bought this on a whim when I was looking for something different. I am very happy with it. This stencil is very durable and the results are very clear with a little care. There are a few blurry spots in the image as it was the left page of a magazine and I had to put a book underneath to keep it flat. I used Dylusion's black paint through a stencil and it washed out really well. Do not wipe or wipe with a cloth, as the cloth will stick to the detailed letters. The brush works better.

This is the best template I have ever used. I bought it to use on a table I'm remodeling. For that it worked great. It's thicker than your traditional stencil so you don't feel like it's flimsy. It can be easily washed after use. I've used it in several projects and so far it's worked great. The letters are small and when they hit the table they are quite difficult to read.
