These are NOT bright orange. They are bright orange. To match my other kitchen towels, I had to drop them in a bucket of black paint for a few minutes. Now they are bright orange. After a "quick" wash (5 minutes) to wash off the remaining color, the seams separated. I wouldn't buy them again.

Hope you can see it in the attached photo. 4 out of 6 tea towels were very good. But the brown stitching on the edge is terrible and loose. I know it won't hold up laundry. And a brown has a material defect. And sewing along one edge missed the crease and it's open. I'm not going back because I need fabrics right now and will just re-sew the brown ones. It will take less time than returning. But I have to seriously think about reordering.

These were bought as a gift so I've given them 5 stars for absorbency etc as I can't rate their functionality. I definitely don't recommend them as gifts because although the fabric isn't flimsy they feel very cheap and here's why: each one has several threads that I had to cut with scissors, which took a very long time.
