They need to wash their bulbs

In my opinion I would look for another manufacturer/seller than decorstar. Although the lightbulbs work, everything was dirty. Each of the 6 bulbs I bought to light up the dining room has a sticky smudged film on it. Since this type of lamp is designed to be visible in a fixture I think you can see how problematic this can be. I don't have to "wash" lightbulbs. It is not dust that can be easily wiped away. Obviously quality control needs to be improved.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • I will add later

DANGEROUS! DO NOT USE

These bulbs were purchased for use in 60W downlights. I installed the lightbulbs, turned on the power, and immediately—not in ten seconds—the lightbulb EXPLODES. It didn't just burst, it exploded. We have young children so my biggest concern was the small pieces everywhere. I was fortunate that I chose not to do the install with the power on like we all do sometimes, which could have resulted in even more disastrous consequences. I've never seen anything like this on a pear. You don't even have

A pleasant surprise! best bulbs

I've researched so many bulbs of this type that I think we now call Edison bulbs that to be honest I'm a bit confused with all the options. So I chose based on what I wanted - a bulb that I can dim, soft/warm at 2700K, a unique bulb shape, amber glass and a bulb with no LEDs. These pears fit perfectly. I'm SOOOO glad I did NOT go with an LED because what you get is magic lightbulbs in a lightbulb and you have no idea what a "vintage lightbulb" would look like. I will buy more of these. Highly…
