I've been looking for pasta bowls for a long time and found them with good reviews. Good weight, matches the rest of my serving bowls and is just perfect every time. I like the size and the nice round shape, not too big and not too small. Good smooth texture, no manufacturing defects, both top and bottom. I like number seven where if I break one I still have a maximum of six seats. There are no cons, I can't think of one that makes me very happy with the purchase.

I have two sets of large, heavy but decorative pasta bowls. Each bowl contains more than one serving; Therefore, there is a tendency to fill it up, thus either overeating or wasting food. As for the weight, the older - that is, weaker - I get, the more difficult it becomes to fit several of them on a high shelf at once. These thinner porcelain bowls are the right size and weight, easier to store and dishwasher safe. As a bonus, I love the plain white background that really shows off the food.

I party and eat a lot and often make my favorite dish (carbonara) if I have the right ingredients like guanciale. This bowl is the perfect size for it and Amatricana. It's also good for small, simple salads and even Southern dishes like shrimp and grits, red beans and rice, etc. They're weighted, nicely constructed, and easy to hand wash.
