I don't know how best to describe the shoe but they are perfect and they have the support they need. They look lovely too, got a little scuffed on the trip when I got them and now some socks need work so they can be polished but I'm having trouble finding shoes as I have very small feet, and they are perfect. My son wears shoes 13.5.p. I bought 13 and it seems like a comfortable fit. The pair has a few flaws if you look closely but overall a nice suitcase colored shoe. I'm happy for the money, even if he only wears it once, which is for communion this Sunday. He also really likes them because they resemble daddy's shoes. He even wanted to wear them to school today. I wouldn't let him this week but maybe next week after the special day. I would recommend these shoes. Delivery was quick as promised.

I bought two pairs, one for each of my sons. My 12 year old fits snug enough in these that we're hoping he doesn't have growth spurts prior to the event we bought these shoes for. On the other hand my 5 year old sits on it so freely we hope he grows faster. And we'll probably still have to double the socks for him to be able to walk around in these boots.
