It arrived on time - is very compact. I've placed it in my clothes closet in the bedroom that has an outside wall.I've had problems with moisture before and had purchased a small dehumidifier that plugged in. After several years of use it has stopped. I thought this might make a good alternative. I've been checking it and so far it has not changed color -- indicating the presence of moisture

I got this for my bathroom due to the heavy moisture even with the fan. It works but haven't noticed a big difference. I have to charge it after 3 to 4 showers. It it takes longer to charge than expected.

The dehumidifier in my 88 liter dry box quit on me after 4 years. Couldn't get a replacement part and didn't want to buy another dry box. So I bought the DEERMA and placed it in the dry box. It works great keeping in mind that 88 liters is a small space and a dry box is well sealed.

I had a small closet that would occasionally have water running down the walls when it was especially humid outside. I wanted a product that I could reuse and this fit the bill! It really works, I haven’t seen evidence of water droplets since I started using it. It takes a while to dry the beads back out once they are saturated, but I just plug it up over night and it’s good to go again and again!

I use one in my closet and the other in my spice cabinet. It’s has been helpful both places. The moisture doesn’t cause my seasoning and spices to clump up. I like that once it gets saturated I can plug it in and dry it out.

I ordered this item about a year ago, I used it in my gun safe that is almost always closed. The first 6 months I was using it, everything worked great. A year later it does not clear itself of moisture within a reasonable amount of time. It has been plugged in for over 24 hours and it still have a dark green tint to the display balls. Save your money and buy something a little better.Would not recommend to buy.

Works so well in my closet! I have always been used disposable dehumidifier, sometimes I just forget to change it. Fortunately, I find this little device. What a good design! So easy to use it.

I am updating a bad review I gave this product before understanding the science behind this product. First this is not a dehumidifier it is a moisture absorption device that sucks moisture out of the air and into small silica pebbles that then after the beads swell to capacity you have to remove the device and plug it in, at which time it will passively heat itself up and dry the silica out, then u can place it back in its desired place to repeat the process.The seller contacted me immediately…

I bought this because the beads are either not drying or changing in my eva dry wall plug in. this is dehumidifier is great. i have bought multiple after my first because they work better for my 18 gun safe. they last 4ish days on 1 charge in my baesement

Works just like you would hope it would. My only word of caution is that it gets VERY hot so be careful where you place it and keep an eye on the balls because it needs to be charged often.

We actually bought and are using this to dry out a pontoon on an electric deck boat. Water had gotten into the pontoon after a heavy rain and soaked the styrofoam inside. We bailed the water but the styrofoam was damp when we took the boat out of the water for the winter. So we placed this small unit inside the pontoon and closed the opening hatch. Every week or so we remove the dehumidifier and renew it before putting it back in. By spring it should be dry as a bone!

I like the dehumidifier. It really works. I use it in the closet. It takes about 8-12 hours to charge after it is full. That's my feedback!

These are great for safes. Check on them with the color indicator every month or so and just plug it up for a bit to get rid of the moisture. Once the color has turned to dry again put it back into the safe. Depending on how dry your house or area is, you may not have to plug this up and dry them but once every 3 months or so.

I bought this for our boat. I thought it would help save on purchases of Damp Rid and would fit nicely in small spaces with no mess.I’m not impressed. It really doesn’t work that great. I have put it in the closet- the bathroom/ the bedroom and have not noticed a difference. I charge it when the little beads appear to change color but I don’t notice a difference. 😞

I bought it to keep my closet dry. It's easy to use. It has a window to monitor the status of the machine. When it's orange, it's ready to use and when it turns dark green, you need to charge it. In fact, I can't see anything when it turns dark green, maybe as I'm not very sensitive to the dark green. I think it should work.

Update on 7/9/2020: It's not able to keep up in my car with the summer humidity. It's still a clever design but it's not up for high humidity environments. Was trying to find a solution to demudidifying my safe and this unit looked great. When it showed up it's form and function meet my expectations. I look forward to seeing the effectiveness of the tool.

We have struggled with moisture in our small bathroom for years—we keep the door closed any time we aren’t in there to keep our cats out, which means humidity from showers etc tends to get trapped in the space. This dehumidifier has made a huge difference. It’s small enough to sit on our counter without being in the way, and while you can hear the fan running it’s not obnoxiously loud.Overall very good, recommended to buy!

I got this product on August 3rd. On September 21, it killed itself. I've recharged it about once a week to refresh the silica. Today as soon as I plugged it in, there was a loud quick pop, and flash of light. Then smell of smoke. So I unplugged it right away. One of the electronics inside must have exploded. This seemed to work well for a while. I used it in my car 'til the beads turned green, then returned to house for recharge. After a time (6 months or so) the beads wouldn't turn orange anymore despite being plugged in for a long period.
