Good dehumidifier for a small and enclosed space.
We actually bought and are using this to dry out a pontoon on an electric deck boat. Water had gotten into the pontoon after a heavy rain and soaked the styrofoam inside. We bailed the water but the styrofoam was damp when we took the boat out of the water for the winter. So we placed this small unit inside the pontoon and closed the opening hatch. Every week or so we remove the dehumidifier and renew it before putting it back in. By spring it should be dry as a bone!
- Not meant to dry out the Titanic. Works great for small spaces like a gun safe or other enclosure.
- Can take several days to see results
