Atmos speakers are very cool. They play audio without the Atmos source soundtrack, but really shine when the source is Atmos encoded. easy to attach to the top of my BP 9060.

Works great, the sound is not as deep as I would like as my ceiling is probably too high and colorful. You can definitely hear some of the effects Atmos is designed to project. Great addition to the BP 9060 speakers, just do your research before you buy, I believe this is only for the Definitive Technology 9000 series speakers, if you don't have these speakers don't buy them.

For those who cannot physically mount tall speakers on the ceiling, this is the only option. With Dolby Atmos content, using two pairs of these on my four BP9040s really gives me some much-needed verticality, which is nice to have, even if the effect doesn't need to die. But since I can't mount speakers on or near the ceiling, it's pretty much the same as can be.

Glad I bought these as part of my bp9060 set - they all go together really well. However, I'm not sure if I'm getting the expected Atmos performance. There are many factors that may not be related to the speaker, but the 3 stars is because I'm not usually thrilled with the addition of these speakers. In the future I will try other configurations and compare the effect. Perhaps this is the best option given the layout of my room. I'm glad they are optional.

My A90 arrived today and I have to say I was amazed. So I made sure everything was set up and calibrated on my receiver, then did what everyone else who was happy with it did and turned it on. I tuned in to Blade Runner 2042 as my first movie with them and the first sound made me faint. This makes my Bp-9060 sound massive. They convey a great sense of height. When it rains and Kei is on the roof with Joi, you can feel the rain coming down from the ceiling.

This pair of speakers (along with the A90 Dolby Atmos Topper option) sounds MUCH better than my 10 speaker surround sound! I had to adjust my amp settings for speaker distance to get the Atmos speakers (above) to play louder (tricking the amp into thinking they're farther away). Now I get FULL surround sound with amazing bass. I even had to turn off my 12" Klipsh subwoofer! I'm hearing noises from my 4K Blu-rays that I've never heard before!
