No significant difference

I'm not sure if it mattered, and if it did, then not for long. As a result, 3 out of 4 of them lost. Straight skin, so soft, worked a lot better!

Pros
  • Surprising
Cons
  • There are nuances

Limited use in other sports

I know they worked before but as oil became scarce I doubted their effectiveness. They're not for us in the long run, but I can't dispute their effectiveness if managed carefully.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Doesn't work best in horseback riding

I have deviated from other reviews where people said these worked for more or less 2 weeks. You never worked for me. My horse was wearing them and the flies were still on his legs. I expected all the flies to be gone, they also broke after 5 days.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

I love her! But they need a nudge.

My horse appreciates them. They work for about a month and then lose their attractiveness. I clean them (dirt gets caught in the holes) and soak them in Nature's Defense Concentrate, a natural fly repellent, and they're like new! Well I love them BUT they don't last very long without help.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

You are not working! Best in Sport

These tapes had a very strong insecticide odor when opened. The latches were very difficult to align and secure, but I could live with that. at first they seemed to work. They have been on my horse for 5 days in very hot weather and extreme flying and they no longer work! The packet said not to get wet so I took it off to give my horse a bath. The packaging also said they would last for two months! Not true! As long as they're cheap, don't waste your money. You are not working!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Small Parts

There should be velcro but they WORK!

Hey, that job! My horse is white and there are fly tracks all the time this summer. He hates them (who hates them but frogs). I've also used Bannix to kill fungus - sometimes it was hard to tell where the flies ended up. I put a smack on his leg, and no flies ahead! Now they go behind his back - the only thing I suggest is that the shutter is easier to close. I prefer velcro because it takes too long to get that damn zipper on his leg! He gets upset when I'm down there with long legs…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Everything great
