The tolerances on the connector are out of tolerance and it is made of ultra-thin sharp metal. It's impossible to plug it into a USB-C port without risking damaging the device. It's garbage. I can't believe it has such a high rating.

The metal sleeve on the side of the USB-C connector fell off on one of the cables after a week. A quick inspection reveals that this is a purely decorative component, held in place by a tiny bead of glue. If the rest of the cable is made with the same poor workmanship then I don't expect this product to last too long.

I only bought this set because of the 1ft cable as I need to use my phone (with USB-C) instead of my tablet (with micro-USB) for my DJI drone controller . No problem. I tested another longer cable with my latest Pixel phone on my PC and it performed very well. I have no idea why these reviews are all over the place with complaints. Good cables, I just don't like them tending to kink and then having a hard time coming out. It's not as simple as how metal remembers the shape you bend it into. It's more like the various layers of internal wires, rubber coating and braiding that slide into each other and then get stuck in a certain way, making it impossible to remove the bends. Overall it's not that big of a deal as it's still flexible for the most part, it just has weird curves.

I bought this thinking I could put music in my car stereo but it doesn't work and it tells me it's not for listening to music! It was a very worthless purchase and I will get my money back!

Huge waste of money. My cell phone is brand new. I plugged it in and the battery was really dead. I thought it was an accident. I've tried several times over the course of 2 days and each time the power has gone out or the phone has told me to use a different charger. that it takes 8 hours to charge the phone. I have a Galaxy S21+. such a crap.

Recently bought these cables to replace worn ones. The old ones regularly stopped charging our phones. I'm tired of waking up to find my phone is almost dead. We decided we needed a 90 degree elbow on the phone side of the cable. These work great. The angle helps reduce strain on the standard cable that comes with it when you use the phone while it's connected to the network. We are very happy with our purchase.

tl;dr It still charges my phone but no longer works for Android Auto. I've been using this USB cable for about 6 months, but unfortunately I can't recommend it.
