Doesn't work for phones with cases

Bought this to connect my Galaxy S21 Ultra to my car for Android Auto. My USB to AA I is in the armrest and requires the connection to be at a 90 degree angle. Which caused my other cables to die early around the corner. Unfortunately they don't work for me as I have to take off the phone case every time to use them. You also feel weak and fragile.

WORKS GREAT on computers and accessories

I bought these for use in the car to connect my phone via USB. The outlet is in the pocket, and every time I plugged my phone in, I had to coil up a 10-foot or 15-foot charging cord. This cable is the perfect length to fit in my pocket and allows me to control my phone with auto controls and voice commands. Do not use with Android Auto

I put this cable between car and phone and Android Auto worked for less than 60 seconds and then turned off. After that, I can no longer connect my phone to Android Auto, even with my old cable. So it either broke my phone or my car. I'll find out which ones. But whatever you do, DO NOT use it on your car or you will break one of them! I'm returning it now.

I have an LG G8 and I want to find a nice short cable with two corners so my phone can easily fit in a drawer. Cable length, angle, and feel are good, but Android Auto connectivity can be tricky. It works, drive over a bump and it disconnects, then I have to disconnect and reconnect for it to be recognized. I have used other cables that work better and some worse. Excellent USB-C cables with a unique shape at a reasonable price

The angle of the USB-A end and the solid metal body on each side are very unique and just what I was looking for have . I bought cables to use with the Oculus Quest 2 to connect the battery from the back of the device to the main body with less cable kink and it seems to do its job well. I've attached a few photos that can show you that the specific angle, length and shape of the USB-A was PERFECT for this application. Great for the front console of the VW Golf - even with the lid closed!

I only needed one of these but for the price I didn't mind ordering 3 as they come that way. I need this cable to replace the cable I used with my Android phone (Pixel 3A) to connect it to a 2017 VW Golf USB to connect Android Auto.
