Only supports our grow bulb in a few places.

We received it for use with grow lights. For this purpose it works fine. The main reason preventing me from giving a higher rating is that this socket can only support the weight of the bulb in very limited positions, otherwise it will fall off completely. First of all, this type limits the intended use of such a light base.

Cheap Plastic Socket

Broke on second day trying to tilt head. I bought it to combine with a red light therapy lamp. I was just trying to tilt my head a little better but the plastic ripped and now the lightbulb just dangles. The clip is strong, the neck seems relatively strong, but it's clearly not for my needs. Maybe a small lightbulb in the workplace that, once installed, you never have to touch again. To return.

Reusable in electrical applications

I bought this flexible holder for my red heating pad and it works great. You need to make sure this is the right size for your lightbulb. To increase strength, you need to make sure the clamp is well adjusted on the flat surface you are using. The gooseneck can be easily placed in different directions. All in all it was a great investment for me and I would like to buy another one for my art table.
