Works great: Memory card reader

I use this for my Delkin CF Express card. As far as I can tell, it works very well. It takes time to download 2000 files to computer, but this is normal.

Doesn't maximize speed CFExpress

A bit of a waste as this reader seems to max out at 700MB/s while the card is rated for up to 1700+ MB/s. This was tested using a Delkin CFExpress Power 128GB card with a Thunderbolt 3 connector on a 2021 MacBook Air and a Thunderbolt 3 cable. I can't think of anything else that could be changed to increase transfer speed. The aluminum main body feels solid, but the soft plastic door is so soft and pliable it almost feels like rubber. I assume it will break at some point.

Well made and fast the best memory card accessory

The Delkin reader uses a push and pull mechanism which is better than my Canon R5 which has a side button. It looks very well made and is perfect for on the go. It comes with USB-C cables that fit both my old and new laptops, so I don't have to buy another cable. There's no reason to pay more if all you need is a CFexpress card reader. And yes, the reader can get hot or warm (although I haven't had enough time to test it) but according to some articles this is normal for CFexpress cards and…
