My Dell XPS13 had two issues, 'low battery' and 'plugged in - not charging'. The second, more serious problem means that the computer can run on AC power (often with a degraded processor) but will not charge the battery. Sometimes it can just be a wear and tear issue with the charging port, but a new charger alone didn't fix the issue for me. The combination of new charger and battery helped. Works well for about 3 weeks.

This isn't the first time I've changed my laptop's charger. I opted for the more expensive charger hoping it would be better than the previous two I've bought over the years. Replaced three batteries in a laptop. None worked. Called Dell and used their battery but the problem persists. Use this charger and no more problems. The laptop charges and works perfectly. I think a lot of people don't realize that most of the time the problem is with the charger and not the battery. If you don't use a proper charger or a cheap charger, you'll have the same problem as me.
