I wanted to delve into the world of Chromebooks because a lot of my students have them (but almost always forget to bring them to class with the teacher). I didn't want to invest a lot of money as I already have a good desktop PC and a small tablet for streaming entertainment. I also have a nice Dell 11.6 Windows 2-in-1 laptop that I bought 4 years ago to use as a tutor, but it's noticeably slow as Windows is always slow to start up or decide to update when it wakes up or need to scroll through

Everyone should have this little machine, it's fast and very easy to surf the internet from the couch! Very easy to use, right out of the box! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This is the perfect little Chromebook. With expandable storage. 2 HDMI ports. Clear bright screen, don't touch. I've had two other Chromebooks in the past and prefer these. I tried to make a tablet but they failed in comparison. I will always recommend Chromebooks.

Try as I might, I couldn't confirm the AUE date until I got the machine got. The car says June 2022. I only bought a new box because my accer has reached its AUE date and is no longer updated so not secure enough for things like banking in my opinion. He has worked for over 4 years. It's a 2019 production date, but Chrome itself tells me I've reached the same point of not being able to get updates after 2022.
