Dell 💻 23.8-Inch ComfortView TUV-Certified Dock Review

I like how it automatically turns on the computer when plugged into my Precision 3571 workstation. One small issue is the placement of the USB ports - two of them are on the front of the docking station, which is a bit inconvenient.

NON-WORKING AMAZON WILL NOT HELP. HIDDEN THIRD PARTIES WILL NOT HELP. I just got an answer. Also, according to a Dell Service Tag search, the device (which should be new) was already registered in Canada. Something is wrong here

The docking station worked great until it broke. I use it on average 1-2 times a week. Bought July 2021, stopped working as of March 2022.

Bought it for my home office. I would like to have a connection for my laptop. An additional USB is also provided (there are only two of these in my laptop). Highly recommended.

They won't update and you will have strange problems like: B. Ethernet disconnecting/disappearing for no reason unless you update the firmware.

With the amount of power the Dell docking station generates, I expected it to charge the phone quickly. It's not like this. If I'm doing something wrong please tell me how to fix it!

Please note - I love Dell docking stations and have been using them in all mods for over 10 years. They simply work best with Dell systems (yes!). replaced wd15. Seems more integrated. I wonder if the Dells have finally figured out the docks and there will be fewer problems? It seems to have fewer problems than any previous version. It gets a little warm and the fan spins randomly. The only other issue is that a monitor sometimes goes to sleep. Looks expensive compared to previous versions.

This dock works exactly as advertised and is easy to set up. Getting it through Revain and a supplier (not Dell itself) got me it a lot quicker and cheaper. My order from Dell has a delivery date of 3 months from the order date! By placing an order through Revain, a real seller was able to get it to me within a week and at a modest discount. The product I received is perfect. Thank you very much!

Works as described and no 3 month waiting time due to back order. Easy to install and connect to multiple screens and laptops.

With a headphone dongle, a wireless keyboard dongle, an external hard drive, 2 monitors, and a printer that needs to be hardwired (don't tell me why), this dock doesn't have enough USB ports. Otherwise it works great and has all the features. I bought this because it has a power switch so my laptop can stay closed which was important.

I've used some 3rd party chargers and hubs, aftermarket products and hubs struggle to charge and connect multiple devices, this higher powered factory unit is for you.

I don't know why this dock was previously registered by Dell in Costa Rica. I have a feeling this is being taken advantage of. Another WD19S dock I bought through Revain was already registered in Canada. And it broke in just a few months. I just don't think anything bought from Revain can be trusted more.

We bought a new laptop thinking the laptop was bad when it stopped working when we got a new dock. Dock not working with new laptop. I sent the dock to our IT company and he says he's completely dead. When our IT company went to Dell for warranty support, they said they couldn't fix it because it's a Canadian product registered in Canada and we're in the US. Of course, the return line is closed, so we only ate a few hundred bucks. 0 stars. Wouldn't recommend it.

This dock stopped connecting to my computer after about 6 months. I went to the Dell website and downloaded the new drivers, but since the dock won't connect to my computer, I can't update the dock. Now this is a useless product and it was a huge waste of money.
