Works as described and no 3 month waiting time due to back order. Easy to install and connect to multiple screens and laptops.

Wd15 replaced. Seems more integrated. I wonder if the Dells have finally figured out the docks and there will be fewer problems? It seems to have fewer problems than any previous version. It gets a little warm and the fan spins randomly. The only other issue is that a monitor sometimes goes to sleep. Looks expensive compared to previous versions.

NON-WORKING AMAZON WILL NOT HELP. HIDDEN THIRD PARTIES WILL NOT HELP. I just got an answer. Also, according to a Dell Service Tag search, the device (which should be new) was already registered in Canada. Something is wrong here

Needed new docking stations to use with Dell Latitude 3500 within a few days. Item received and works great! Easy to set up and use straight away. No questions. Will be back from this sale in the future.

1. The RJ45/Ethernet port fails on average once a week. Only after reinstalling the drivers and restarting the computer will the port come to life and work. Other ports work fine.2. Regardless of the computer's room temperature/resource usage, the fan suddenly runs at full speed and shuts down. That's wrong. There is no special template for this. Note. Third WD19S purchased from Revain and Dell, neither of which worked. I have 2 more at home, both made by companies. One does not work reliably with its USB ports, the other works perfectly. Choosing a USB docking station for a laptop is a serious matter, there seem to be a lot of bad products out there. Just take a look at 'Refurbished' on Revain and 'Used' on eBay to see what I mean. I don't know why this dock was previously registered by Dell in Costa Rica. I have a feeling this is being taken advantage of. Another WD19S dock I bought through Revain was already registered in Canada. And it broke in just a few months. I just don't think anything bought from Revain can be trusted more.

I like how it turns the computer on automatically when connected to my Precision 3571 workstation. One small issue is the placement of the USB ports - two of them are on the front of the docking station, which is a bit inconvenient.

This dock stopped connecting to my computer after about 6 months. I went to the Dell website and downloaded the new drivers, but since the dock will not connect to my computer, I am unable to update the dock. Now this is a useless product and it was a huge waste of money.

Just what I needed for my home office! I was concerned that this dock would not work, I deviated from the Dell Lightning Dock manual where this model fell under 'supported' but not 'recommended' for the Latitude 5420. I have no complaint! This dock works exactly as advertised and is easy to set up. Getting it through Revain and a supplier (not Dell itself) got me it a lot quicker and cheaper. My order from Dell has a delivery date of 3 months from the order date! By placing an order through Revain, a real seller was able to get it to me within a week and at a modest discount.
