Don't think you can connect your laptop or PC to it with an HDMI to DP cable. You need an "active" adapter, which costs more than $20. Does not support passive connections. I wish I knew that when comparing purchases. Otherwise everything is fine, neat assembly, quality and a bright display.

The dimensions of this monitor are terrible! I have several Dell monitors and they are all reasonably large and flawless. But DELL really missed it, they reduced the width to 9 inches on a 20 inch monitor. All the stand adjustments are useless as they barely move. Also, the side view is terrible unless you're looking at the monitor's head, and suffers from a tremendous amount of white saturation and fading. Nothing special. Big monitor. The picture quality isn't amazing, but it definitely works the way I want it to, so it's easier for me to work from home.

big size. Excellent price. Easy to assemble. Colors look strong and well saturated. The text is pretty sharp. It doesn't seem possible to adjust the height or the viewing angle. the stand is too plain and simple. Also, the parts of the stand don't seem to snap into place. Be careful with this device. for the price, good value for money. I am happy with the purchase. Well packaged, no scratches.

Delivered early. The monitor is in very good condition with one exception. A black dot appears on the screen and does not disappear. This is what's inside the screen. If it weren't for that black dot on the screen, I'd give it 5 stars.

After initial difficulties with the installation, it now works very well. Like the size that fits perfectly in the small hole in the shelf above my desk. It's hard to find smaller screen sizes.

The listing is incorrect - NO HDMI port but other than that it's a good monitor. Luckily I was able to use a mini displayport to displayport adapter, the quality was good enough with decent responsiveness. I've had Dell's best monitors, I've had worse, but for the price I'm happy.

DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR! I bought this as a present for my daughter and when I unboxed it, there was no Display Port (DP) cable! If you don't know what a DP cable is, it's one with a standard HDMI connector on one side and a weird version of HDMI on the other side, so a standard HDMI cable WILL NOT WORK. I bought two of these to replace some older Samsung 19 inch LCDs and they have poorer picture quality. I like them because they're widescreen, but I definitely miss the picture quality of the old Samsungs.

I bought it to donate to a charity where they only had 1 computer for 16 special needs adults. I didn't need anything fancy, I just needed something that would give a good picture, big enough for some adults with low vision to see clearly. This screen does its job well. They love their new computer and this monitor. I tested the screen before giving it away and it looked pretty good. I wouldn't recommend it for avid gamers or photographers, but for the average user this is a great monitor.
