It's a decent monitor for most tasks, but it doesn't fare well when it comes to displaying gradients. Absolutely not suitable for working with graphics. Move and buy IPS.

really good monitor. I would have preferred buttons rather than a touchpad for on/off and adjustments. hard-to-find touchpoint. I had several brands of monitors. Dell has always been a very reliable and durable monitor for me.

Simply put, I bought Dell because of the expected quality behind the name. Not correct. It's not that the product is bad or lacking; rather that it is very average. I expected very good pictures. What I have is very average. Buying from Dell instead of an unfamiliar brand offers no benefit. The only certainty is that you are overspending.

This monitor delivers crisp, clear images. The colors are rich and beautiful. Text is crisp and video is stunning with no motion blur. The price is great for such a good picture. The only drawback is that the stand has no height adjustment.

The cable that connects to the computer doesn't really fit! I used this from my old monitor and it works great. Otherwise the monitor is great! Picture and color are great!

About a month later it began to get dark from time to time. I had to unplug it to turn it back on. Of course, sparks started shooting from the place where the monitor is connected to the power supply. I shelved this article because I don't want my house to burn down. I won't buy anything from Dell anymore.

The monitor itself is fine, but Dell doesn't include onboard audio (misleadingly because it has an audio input and output connector), nor does it support a soundbar that doesn't need its own power supply - the only one that works. This is the ax501pa which will cost another $20-$30 (at least) making it not worth the price!

I bought this monitor because it has all three ports (VGA, DVI, HDMI) on the back. I use this to work on people's computers and I need all three to be available depending on what computer they have.

Exactly as described. Using it in our small business makes reading spreadsheets and doing billing easier. Looks and functions work great.

Great monitor but no sound. If you want to hear something from your computer, you need "Dell Genuine AX510 Entry Flat Panel Stereo Sound Bar 1908FP". Listen to this or your computer on an external sound source such as a stereo system.

It could be a great monitor, but I wouldn't know because it doesn't have holes to mount it to a wall or a dual monitor swivel mount on a desk (it didn't even occur to me that a new Monitor that might not have this feature) It's not a feature to look for, you just need to look at the monitors with the back side photos and see if they have holes. I've never plugged it in, so the clarity, looks, etc. I don't vouch for.

I chose this monitor because it had all the available inputs - VGA, DVI and HDMI - and I have had other Dell monitors and one more and have been very happy with them. I have to admit that this one looks a lot better than my old one, but that's to be expected as improvements are being made. I would buy it again if I need it and if it was available.

Clear, bright display with excellent colors. The price is right. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone, you can't go wrong.

After looking at other monitors of the same size at retail stores, I expected Dell to have the same or better screen quality as advertised. This monitor is definitely not as sharp as some of the other similarly priced brands. I use it for work, not for gaming.

Great monitor. Excellent colors and clarity. My guess is that those who say it doesn't turn on didn't find the little on/off button in the bottom right corner.

I really like this monitor. Use it every day. Nice and wide for easy viewing. It is possible to keep the monitor away from the laptop (visually) during use.
