It's pre-calibrated and the colors are really good out of the box. However, if you use this for photo editing, you may need to recalibrate it.

No dents after hitting it with a Wacom pen. The color is excellent. There are no built-in speakers, but there is an audio output. Happy with it.

Great monitor for graphic design. I have my display set to P3 calibration on my Macbook Pro and it is excellent. I use my monitor up close and can see pixels when actually looking at them, but my eyes tend to see them where others can't. However, my viewing distance is probably outside the norm. No pixels can be seen from a distance (unless it's a low-resolution image, of course).

Good monitor but the calibration software is buggy. I couldn't calibrate in the native color space. Instead, Native is rendered as sRGB. This is very frustrating, but if you're calibrating using the Dell X-Rite calibration software and want to use the primary native RGB for the widest possible color space, check the color space render chart on the right and make sure it doesn't show that same. I installed it and the stand/base was heavy allowing for very little rocking. The color is just what I need and generally fits and looks good when I send it to my clients with Macs.

I used a different monitor but I could never get the right color. My brother advised me to try this Dell. Plugged in and within 5 minutes it fitted my MacBook Pro perfectly.

Colors were very vivid and images were crisp, but the IPS glow was unbearable. Blacks were very blotchy, and when I even increased the brightness a bit, whites turned yellow in every corner of the screen.

It was a very good monitor and my research showed it would be great. I wanted to pair it with an equivalent monitor and use it for photo editing, but the other monitor has a much more realistic image and sharper image. It's a good monitor in its own right, but I found a better one at a much lower price. .

It just seems that there is no way to disable the display port binding feature and this has the side effect of disabling HDCP over the display port. I've added screenshots of the PIP/PBP features from the user manual.
