My previous knock box was a giant Breville model. This is a super space saver. Lacquer like glass. The rod seems to last a long time. The opening is smaller than I'm used to, but with a little skill all the coffee sloshes into the canister. Great buy for the price. Ideal for saving countertop space.

This is one of those "what else do I need to complete my De Longhi espresso/coffee maker?" purchases. If you can't have more than two cups of espresso at a time, then a knockout box is a silly purchase. If everyone in your family drinks espresso twice a day or more, it's a good purchase to avoid having to wash the strainer after each use.

Looks good but doesn't work. Here are a few cons.1. That's too small for a 58mm PF. I have a 58mm portafilter and it even hits the rims at different angles. Maybe a smaller one could work, but I haven't tested it. Metal to metal contact is not acceptable.2. The rubber base doesn't cover the entire perimeter making things shaky.3. The rubber stock is a bit too stiff, but it's only a small hit (pun intended).

Purchased with our new DeLonghi La Specialista coffee maker. This kickbox looks great, but it has one incredible downside: the rubber (a fairly soft material that absorbs shock well) on the bottom is only about 2/3 in diameter, so the kickbox kinda wobbles on that rubber foot. when you tap on it. I just did a few "dry strokes" (without getting it dirty) and put it back in the box for a refund. This is an expensive product (it's really just a small metal bucket with a rubber handle screwed in)…

It's a handy size but the oversized handlebar grips are unnecessarily large, although would be nice if I had arthritis. The biggest complaint is that its base measures about 4 1/4 inches, with a rubber grommet at the bottom that's only 2 1/2 inches in diameter and about an eighth of an inch thick. That way it will rock back and forth on the pillow when you hit the ground if you're not holding it, which isn't that hard. A major design flaw, however it would have been so easy to put an o-ring…
