Delphi CV10036 Idle Control Valve Review

This IAC fixed a vacuum leak on a '96 Camaro z28. Great part, and the OEM only fits one way (connector needs to be angled up, not upside down).

Bought for my lt1, fast shipping, good price, packaging could be a bit better (box slightly crumpled) and seems to work as expected after initial installation. A week later IAC failed.

I selected this Delphi IAC valve for my '95 Chevy Caprice with LT1 engine to replace my ailing 156,000 mile original valve. As far as I know this is a direct OEM replacement for any Chevy LT1 engine. Installed as stock, did the IAC reset procedure given here [.] Works like a champ! You can't beat the cost of supplying an equivalent OEM part!

fitted over the weekend 2 weeks ago worked for a while then almost got stranded at a junction restarted car i barely made it home i reinstalled acdelco one and it works ok i just thought i would change it because i have 153k on the odometer, you might get lucky with this part but if you don't you might get stuck somewhere. I'm 56 years old, I don't like running in Las Vegas in 110 heat

This part appears to be identical to the original part on my LT1 engine. It's heavy and feels like a quality piece. The connection seems to be identical to the original. No changes seem to have been made aimed at making it cheaper. It is manufactured for stock in the USA and will be available February 2017. This new part immediately solved my too-low idle speed with occasional and sometimes frequent stops.
