Faulty Temperature Readings from this Sensor

The Automotive coolant temperature sensor I purchased gave me inaccurate readings. As my tests showed, the sensor began to malfunction within a week after installation and displayed false information. The sensor came with no installation manual, which made the whole process more frustrating. The only pro I saw was its affordable price. Other than that, I don't recommend buying this product.

C-clip included - rubbish...

I bought this for my 1998 A4 quattro 2.8L. It came with a sensor, an o-ring and a new clamp. The sensor itself is fine, as is the sealing ring. There isn't much room in the car to work when installing the sensor and there isn't really room to get good leverage to engage the clip. I've been trying to insert the clip for a long time, but it never worked. Finally, I took out the new sensor and decided I would put the clip in separately. As it turned out, not all.
