C-clip included - rubbish...

I bought this for my 1998 A4 quattro 2.8L. It came with a sensor, an o-ring and a new clamp. The sensor itself is fine, as is the sealing ring. There isn't much room in the car to work when installing the sensor and there isn't really room to get good leverage to engage the clip. I've been trying to insert the clip for a long time, but it never worked. Finally, I took out the new sensor and decided I would put the clip in separately. As it turned out, not all. The C-Clip was just too big to fit. The kinks of the C-clamp created protrusions and that's why it didn't fit properly. I took a dremel and cut out the high points, after which it fit perfectly in the car. If I didn't have to go through all this hassle, this would be a five launch product. If you buy one I would test the c-clip (no sensor installed) to make sure the c-clip fits properly. Getting in and out should be very easy.
