Delta 759460 Trinsic Mounted Towel Review

The price is reasonable and the Delta towel ring looks fantastic. Unfortunately for me this towel rail is a lighter, more neutral champagne tone than the darker tones of champagne bronze (and so is its picture on the packaging). Based on another review I ordered a replacement hoping the color would match but it didn't. Return both the original and the replacement due to color mismatch.

If you only need one, then that's fine. It looks clean but isn't as heavy as some Delta models. I needed two in the bathroom and since the hole goes one way it doesn't work in my bathroom, one hole faces the mirror and the other faces the door. It was awkward. There must be a left and right towel ring, or they must be able to rotate the handle.

In my previous house I had several towel rings that I really liked. This one was similar so I ordered it. To my disappointment the ring is solid ie. does not move (oscillate) regardless of support. It hangs less than an inch from the wall, and because my towels are thick and fluffy I have to force them over the ring. A month later, the crush was all broken and the ring is no longer hanging straight. I'll tighten it and see how long it takes to undo it again.

This towel rail was good enough, but when we took it out of the packaging, which appears pretty flimsy, like the packaging of an item you buy at Target or Walmart, we see that it's missing set screws. These are not simple screws you can buy in the store as the size and finish must match the base of the device. I also bought a toilet roll holder that didn't have a screw but it rattled because the screw fell down the barrel of the rod. I'm returning them all and buying Kohler products instead…

Regarding the color compared to other Delta Champagne bronzes: The first ring I received was a very different color, to the point where I thought that they accidentally sent the gold. I took a risk and ordered another ring. The second paired perfectly with other CB accessories and a faucet. My tip for this color. If it doesn't work the first time, try again. This is a clean, modern, durable towel rail ('towel ring') that replaces our manufacturers' standard towel rings. Installation was very easy and after tightening the bottom screw the mount seems pretty solid. The reasons why this is not a 5 star rating are: a) These holders are irreversible.
