Oh look, someone invented the wheel.

No better than Areo Press. Different paper filter size. Difficult to clean. Hot water on hand reuse This is a small amount of ground coffee that pushes more water. It's disgusting.

Great until the seals failed

It worked great the first few times and made better coffee than my AeroPress. But then the seal around the piston began to fail. Eventually it got to the point where there was no air pressure when the plunger was pulled out to draw in water or when it was pushed in to force water through the coffee. so it was brought back in hopes that version 2.0 will fix those issues!

More awkward to use than an aeropress

Okay, I know this machine doesn't make coffee like an aeropress; but as someone who has both, "ease of use" is of course compared. Aeropress is much easier to use, so Deltier is not used after playing. To my taste, there isn't much of a difference between my "home roasted" coffee being made with any device, so "ease of use" comes first.

Premise with design flaws

The idea of this coffee maker is to eliminate "undesirable excitement". This is because the agitator is a component of the very similar looking AeroPress (which makes great coffee). This machine holds the coffee in the chamber and only uses pressure to force the water through the grinder. When used as intended, the coffee-water ratio made the coffee too weak. If I continued to use this device I would use more coffee. However, I realized that there is no reason not to want to campaign. So I…

Produces great, flavorful coffee

The Delter coffee press delivers great taste when you learn how to use it best for your personal taste. This is actually one of the best features of the product - customization. You can control various aspects of the brewing process, from the pressure (which determines how fast and hard the stream of water goes through the coffee grounds, to the amount of agitation. The only question mark I have about the product after reading other reviews and I have to measure from my own experience whether…

No improvement over Aeropress falls apart after a few uses

This device is much more difficult to operate than the Aeropress. The coffee is no better than the Aeropress. The aero press can then prepare more coffee. Delter is limited to a maximum of 20 grams of ground coffee, which might be fine for making espresso, but it only yields 320 grams of coffee at a 16:1 water-to-coffee ratio if you prefer an Americano. In general, the Aeropress is more versatile. Delter is the solution to the problem. Edit: After a limited number of uses, the rubber diaphragm…

Hot water hit me and burned me badly

Update 11/30/20: Downgraded from 2 to 1 star, would have given zero if I could. I never write reviews but felt I should update my review as I hurt myself by doing so. I ended up throwing the coffee maker away. Something strange happened to the vacuum chamber this weekend and hot water came out on my wrist when I slowly pressed it. This resulted in a very severe 2"x 2" burn on my wrist :(I love the taste of coffee, but after just a few months it started leaking. No matter how many times I look…

Always the best cups. Love it

Very easy to press while Aeropress gets stuck when pressing. I've made several strong cups so far. You have to twist the black part very tight. I use my mountain bike gloves with gel-padded palms to get an extra half of my turn. This is a very strong plastic as I squeezed it very hard when tightening and it hasn't snapped yet. Otherwise it will leak when you press if not fully tightened. I use a metal filter that fits in my Aeropress instead of paper filters and it fits very comfortably. Medium

  • Good workmanship

  • No mold required
