🔍 Premium Rear View Mirror for Honda Pioneer 1000 UTVs - 12" x 4.5 Review

I bought this specifically for the Honda Pioneer 1000 - the bracket was too small to fit the cage. I'm sure I'll get it right with time, but it's really too small. I finally mounted it without washers - it broke -

I've read several reviews complaining about size differences. I found it to fit my Pioneer 1000 perfectly. It's a little tricky to get the end of the clip but it needs to start but it needs to be tight enough so the clip is tight enough to prevent slipping.

Mounting rail failed on first use. The product has been replaced by Revain. The replacement product was installed but the mounting rail failed in the exact same spot. The mirror itself is fine, but the mounting strap doesn't stand up to the rigors of ATV riding. I would not recommend this product.

Has a wide field of vision. It's great when I'm moving forward and quickly looking at what's behind me. However, it is strange when backing up. I still think I need to check it out again as it's hard to tell how close I'm to something. I would probably prefer a regular rearview mirror as a backup. I wish I had both regular and wide angle mirrors.

Bought a mirror two months ago. Was very happy with it. I have a Pioneer 1000-5 and with this mirror the rear seat passengers can also use the mirror. The problem is that I live in Michigan, it's cold here, and one day I was in the garage and I heard a loud bang. The mirror was broken, apparently because of the cold, despite being kept indoors. It didn't impress!

Difficult to install. The clip that attaches the mirror to the roll cage was definitely tight. In the package I received two lock washers and a washer. I'm not sure where the manufacturer put all of this as there were no instructions included. I used a lock washer behind the mirror and one on the other side between the nut and clamp. Seems to be a good product for the money. $60 cheaper than the Honda brand but still nice. I would recommend it.
