good field of view

Inexpensive, works well, good field of view. Installation on the Ranger XP900 was easy. It vibrates, but I stuck a small square piece of styrofoam (which I partially taped to keep it from falling apart) behind a metal wedge that you screw it to to absorb shock. Much better. Has been working for a month with no problems.

Cons
  • Big and chunky

Installed in 2019 Ranger 900XP

All installed well with factory mirror. Unfortunately, there were no lock washers with the two fastening screws. I have nothing bad to say about the mirror itself - but it vibrates a lot due to the weakness of the Polaris factory mount. I will add a vibration control mount in the future, but the vibration isn't the mirror's fault.

I fell apart: mirror and accessories

This mirror attaches easily to my ranger. No problem. Lasted a week and fell off the turning point. From this perspective, it is impossible to reinsert the ball into the mounting hole without tearing the sleeve that fixes it. I was lucky they made 1000 of these and I got the only bad one out of the bunch. Also, I didn't ride cross country or anything like that. The gravel road and the pasture were the only places where there was driving.

Cons
  • New competitors appeared

The mirror has a perfect vision. I had to adjust it a bit to keep it from wobbling. But apparently this is due to the Rangers' weak mirror protrusion and not a mirror malfunction. I added a simple piece of rubber fuel pipe to cleanly attach the transom mount to the main frame and it eliminated 90% of the vibration. See photo. Hope that helps.

Great mirror for the price.

Easy to assemble, but just because of the metal it's attached to, it wobbles a bit when riding. The mirror itself is not to blame. The equipment provided was of poor quality and created a rattling situation while driving. I solved this problem by using some self-tapping screws with some RTV silicone instead of the included nuts and bolts. Works great and no problem. Great mirror for the price as the Polaris brand is more than double the price.

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Finally one that fits my windshield.

Installed in my 2013 Ranger 900XP. I had a Polaris mirror, but when I installed the Polaris windshield it stopped working because the hardware on the windshield was pushing it away when the windshield was in the down position. My Ranger didn't have a lip that this mirror would screw into, but I used self tapping screws and screwed the bracket to the area where the lip would have been. The only downside is that it's a bit bigger than it needs to be, but it looks good.

Cons
  • Crumpled

The mirror came unthreaded for the screw

When I tried to screw the mirror to the adjusting rod, there was no thread in the mirror. I had to cut the thread myself. I would send it back but I need it tomorrow. After installation, it vibrated heavily when idling. I was kind of expecting this from the reviews and was already ready to make braces for braces. Bottom line: Unless you're very handy and don't have more tools than a typical garage, stay away from this one. It's not just screw on and go.

The only mirror you will need

I was looking for a rear view mirror or set of rear view mirrors for my new 2017 Polaris Ranger 900xp without hand and leg fees and without drilling additional holes in the protective cage of the lock and travel. POLARIS BRANDS GOODS ARE INCREDIBLY HIGH PRICES. A FACTORY "BRANCH” IS WELDED TO THE CAGE EXACTLY WHERE THE REAR-VIEW MIRROR SHOULD BE MOUNTED. AFTER SEARCHING OVER THE DAYS, THE MAVERICK MIRROR IS FOUND AND PICTURED WHERE THE BRACKET WAS ON MY CAR AND WAS COMPLETELY 1/2 THE PRICE OF…
