Enhanced Detangling Rake Comb - Denman D24 Review

Bought to complement my Mason Pearson detangling comb which doesn't separate my strands like this comb when dry. Compared to the Mason Pearson comb, this comb has a "woven" tooth pattern. rather than straight tooth alignment. This works best when my 1 1/2 foot long hair is dry, especially on the ends. This comb was fine. Nothing a regular MEBCO comb or standard double row detangler can't do. But Denman is a good brand, so you know it's strong.

The teeth of this comb are not smooth as stated in the product description. The stitching is visible and most of the plastic on the teeth is uneven, rough and can damage delicate hair (see attached photos). Since I would pay more to return the comb than I paid to buy it, it goes in the trash. lost money; Lesson learned; Buyer beware. I rarely leave a one star review on Revain, but this product wasn't worth it.

A long time ago I had a similar comb, but somehow I lost it while traveling. However, this one is way better! It has some weight so the weight is very well distributed. It has no plastic seams to catch hair and it glides smoothly through my very long hair. I am impressed!

. Quality comb made in the UK. Got it to replace a same style Goody comb I bought years ago and thought I lost it, then found it again. Comparing the two combs, the Denman comb has a harder plastic and the overall shape of the tooth is straighter while the Goody has more arch. What I like least about the Denman is that the ends of the teeth are a bit rough (where the two halves of the mold meet), while the ends of the Goody comb's teeth are perfectly smooth. This is the best detangling comb I have ever bought and I have bought many. The tooth on this one is different from the other unraveler. This makes it more efficient.
