Bought to complement my Mason Pearson detangling comb which doesn't separate my strands like this comb when dry. Compared to the Mason Pearson comb, this comb has a "woven" tooth pattern. rather than straight tooth alignment. This works best when my 1 1/2 foot long hair is dry, especially on the ends. In this regard, it works great after some untangling of the fingers. The comb is seamless with no manufacturing defects or anything that could snag hair. The comb handle has a groove, presumably to facilitate different types of grip. However, it is a black plastic comb. The MP comb mentioned above is a luxury item. It feels like a piece of amber in your hands, has more weight, looks prettier and feels more like a multi-finger massage through your hair. advertises, and for less than $10, it's a lot cheaper than cheap pharmacy combs and the like.
