Denso 197-6170 MAF Sensor for Optimal Engine Performance Review

Based on my experience with this automotive sensor, I would not recommend it to anyone. The sensor failed to read accurately, resulting in poor engine performance and unnecessary repairs. The only positive aspect is that it was easy to install. However, its faulty readings far outweigh any convenience. Save yourself the hassle and opt for a different sensor.

item slightly more expensive than OEM. The first one I bought was defective, I called Revain and they sent a replacement quickly. The second is of good quality. The price is a bit higher than OEM, but we hope Denso is a reliable and good company and the device works as expected.

I had trouble accelerating, jerked a little. When I cleaned the old one it worked much better for a day or two and then it started jerking and jumping again. I bought this MAF hoping to solve the problem, but when I opened it up it turned out that it had been installed before (screw marks around the screw holes). It works a little better than the original MAF but not as well as after I cleaned and ran the original.
