Looks good. For now.

Excellent quality. Make sure you have a flat radiator cap. I used ACDelco as it fits just right. Update 12/11: The drain plug was leaking. I had to buy a new one because the factory must have overtightened it and broken the o-ring on it. Before installing the radiator, remove the drain plug and inspect the O-ring. Also check after a few days that it does not leak. Also use lots of teflon tape to wrap the threads as it will spill out through the drain hole.

replaces the 5th gen Prelude, slightly smaller than the original so it doesn't fit as snugly but after a few months no problems . The radiator cap was not included in the kit and the old cap did not fit. I'm not sure the exact size, but I ended up using one from a 2003 Toyota Highlander wheel. Now I've forgotten, but I think I had to install longer ATF lines to achieve this. (If you put in a new wheel you'll need to make the rubber bands attached to it anyway)

Another issue I had was that after a few days of driving I noticed coolant in the engine bay near the radiator cap. Leak from radiator hose and hose. The nipple turned out to have a high seam of sharp plastic of a shape that made the coolant blow. I just took a file and some sandpaper, smoothed it out and reconnected the hose and there hasn't been a…

1997 Accord EX - Radiator

As another reviewer noted, perfect for a '97 Accord EX. Replaced a factory Denso that broke after 17 years. It was well protected in the box and not a single rib was bent (although I bent a couple when inserting it). This was my first radiator change and I would definitely recommend anyone who is not a mechanic and with that in mind to do the fitment. The whole process took about 5 hours with the help of YouTube and Hayes. Next time it won't take so long. I also recommend picking up a decent…
