First Time Fit Cabin Air Filter by Denso 453-1013 for Mazda/Toyota models Review

Not the best quality despite the brand name. You can see many gaps and holes in the filter. It basically picks up bigger things like small leaves and whatnot. Spend an extra $5 on a Fram charcoal filter.

Bought for my 2007 Toyota 4runner and the price was great and it was pretty easy to install. I was very saved when I took my car for a final oil change and was told how much they would charge for the change, but thankfully it wasn't necessary!

The air conditioning in my 2008 Prius was freezing cold. It will take some time to run with defrosting. My mechanic asked if there was a layer of carbon in the cabin air filter. He said to replace it with another without charcoal. I no longer have a freezing problem. Thanks thepriusguy.com

I liked this filter because it fit perfectly and my old one was very dirty. My husband put it on me. The Toyota dealer wanted to charge me $60 for the replacement if I could get the correct filter through the Revain hotline. When ordering one you will want to check the website to make sure the size is right for your particular vehicle before checking out. I made the wrong choice and was very happy that the seller had this information line on the website before buying. It fits perfectly.

I bought a couple of these filters for both of my Toyotas. This is an OEM replacement and they fit perfectly. Out of the box they are a slightly pink color which I am assuming is some type of glue meant to trap dirt/dust. I can't think of any other reason why they would be that color. Installation was easy. The old ones were dirty and caked with leaves/dirt. After replacing it, I can't say that the airflow from the vents is much greater, but I feel better because all the "garbage" on the old…

Wrong image. Bought 2 and sent both back. Bigger holes in the filter than I expected and not as good a seal as the previous one. No foam front and back like the old ones. It should be an OEM for Toyota, it would be similar or close to the original. I ended up throwing the old one away and ordering the ones I bought earlier. The previous one I bought was about $10 more expensive but I also have a 2 year lifespan and blowing with compressed air should give me another year.

FITS RIGHT. It also came in an all white Denso box and was all pink too. It fits snugly on the white plastic holder that comes out of the glove box. I also love that this item is MADE IN USA as can be seen from the box with UPC code 042511077447 this is a great purchase at only $7.64 each! I'll stock up on this as it's for the old Sienna series.
