Just received the figurine and thanks it doesn't look like the picture - the dog is definitely not a mangy mongrel like the picture! I love this character!

Has a strong personality. Very cute, detailed, slightly heavy. I put a tree/plant on the table as a decoration. Didn't notice the small size in the advertised photo but it is the size of a small gem. Just hang up the floss.

I love Department 56 but this item let me down. The photos advertised are of much better quality than the ones I received. You can see the brush strokes and details done terribly and look very rushed. Leave it because the return isn't worth the hassle, but hopefully people won't look too closely.

Sometimes you buy something just because it makes you feel nostalgic. I've always been a huge fan of the 1951 Alistair Sim version of A Christmas Carol. I act in movies every year. When I saw this amazing thing, I grabbed it. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without him. And the ornament is an exact and detailed copy of this wonderful scene.

This figure is in the smaller Division 56 scale, measuring only about 2 1/2 inches from the base to the tip of Tiny Tim. . Also, since it appears to be hand-drawn, expect some variation. For example, our example lacked the stitched holes on Bob's pants, and the buttons on his shirt cuffs [Bob's knee patch was drawn] weren't painted either.
