Mesmerizing Glow: Department 56 Lighted Christmas Bare Branch Tree Review

It's a pathetic ugly tree that looks nothing like the ad or the picture on the box. It appears to be made of brown colored broom material to which tiny spots of light have been added. It's just not pretty. Not at all quality Dept 56. Very disappointed

Caution! It is not as pictured. You can see in the picture the one I got from Amazon is brighter and looks more like an LED. It's still pretty, but when you try to find an older version of the same tree it doesn't match, and it's quite frustrating when they're close together.

Attention! Division 56 switched from old rice lighting to LED lighting. If you had an old tree with bare branches in the same style, it will not fit. Other reviewers are right - the green LED is the brightest and the old-style warm yellow and red colors are absent. Wood can be a bit dominant when the rest of your village is subdued.

I almost bought this tree based on the previous negative review but I got it anyway and I LOVE it! I don't understand this review because it's a big little tree. The bulbs are large and bright, the branches can be shaped, and they're not tiny -- just under 12 inches. It looks great with my Dept Christmas decorations. 56 in an urban village. I couldn't be happier - it's exactly what I wanted and expected. Cute, realistic and bright!

Doesn't look like the picture or even the photo on the box lol. Runs on C batteries which I didn't have on hand so I don't even know if this one will work. I thought it would connect directly, but you'll have to buy another part for that. The photos were taken after I hadn't laid out the tiny wire branches for 20 minutes. After reading some reviews I was nervous about ordering this product. Fortunately the product is as pictured (as of December 2020 when I write this review).
