Review on Mesmerizing Glow: Department 56 Lighted Christmas Bare Branch Tree by Liyanny Llerena

After reading some reviews I was nervous about ordering this product. Fortunately the product is as pictured (as of December 2020 when I write this review). The lights are multicolored and the branches end up looking like the picture. The problem I think most reviewers have is that this tree doesn't look like the picture. Basically, all branches are grouped and stick straight up to increase packaging efficiency. It takes a few minutes to lay out the branches yourself so that everything looks like the picture. The other big problem I've encountered is that it seems very cheap. The base is so small that the tree can hardly stand on its own. When working with branches I was afraid of breaking the base because it looks so cheap. It uses a non-standard power source for the lights, and the battery is so cheap that the power button doesn't go all the way to the off position when it's off. The look of this tree was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't find anything better for the aesthetic I was going for so I feel like I'm stuck with this cheaply made tree, but at least it looks the way it does . claims it should, even if the build quality is terrible.
