Good value for money. Lots of work to do.

Needed for Arduino prototyping. Great quality but hard to screw up as it's a piece of metal embedded in a piece of plastic. This package is very valuable and it will take me a long time to order more.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Not bad but almost impossible to cut

These are decent connectors and I think you get what you pay for. The connections are solid, nothing particularly loose. Pin contacts are very easy to move, so you need to heat them very carefully. The biggest problem I had was that bushings are almost impossible to cut without losing at least one pin. I purposely sacrificed a needle to cut through. They are clearly meant to be cut to size and they just don't do the job.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Not bad

Female titles suck

So the male titles are good, just typical as you would expect but oh my god the female titles are rubbish. First, it's almost impossible to break them without sacrificing one of them. Then you need to cut off excess broken plastic. The small plugs inside sometimes just fall out. They also don't solder well. All in all, I should just toss them straight into the trash and order the best female-only titles. Well, at least it's cheap as damn, although it has delayed the completion of a project I'm…

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

The quality has gone down. Pins fall out

This is my 2nd order of these headers and will not be ordering from this brand in the future. were great. I recently bought 30 more packs and the women's headlines fell apart. Some needles often fall out when you take one out of the box. When you are ready to install and solder the connector, you need to carefully check that the pin has fallen out and is not lost. Otherwise you'll solder the connector and then find you're missing a pin. This NEVER happened with the first batch a few years ago…

Pros
  • Enjoyment
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Useful connectors for custom circuits

High quality connectors for many projects. Both male and female titles were mixed up in bubble wrap packaging. As shown in the photo, I separated them for easier use. My first use of female headers is shown in the second photo to provide connections for a nano microcontroller and 1602 LED display on a small breadboard. While plugs are easy to separate due to the exact number of pins, sockets require some patience. I cut to length with a utility knife. There can be a better way to score…
