Decent kit, bad hose

Do yourself a favor and buy some good quality hose clamps and a slightly larger diameter power steering hose before attempting the installation. All went well (in the end) but I had problems with the hose that came with it after I cut it to length. Even after liberally applying silicone lube, it won't slip on the puffed end. It was too small to be effective. Neat kit. Bad hose.

Easy to hold while installing hoses

I installed this power steering cooler on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I like the product much better than the cheaper versions. The Derale has plastic sides that allow you to hold it without bending the cooling fins while you work on the hoses. I have no data to show that this lowered the PS fluid temperature in my jeep. However, I installed a cheaper PS cooler on another machine and experienced temperature drops of 40 degrees.

Efficient Made in the USA Part

Very economical and efficient. If you can install it somewhere in the airstream away from the car's radiator, you will notice less pump noise and/or better braking on hydroboost cars, which require those cars to change their horsepower fluid every 5 years. The addition of this simple and efficient USA made radiator combined with the PS fluid change improves performance. Buy with confidence.

07 gmc denali 6.2 v8

It has been 2 months since I replaced the regular radiator in my Denali with this one, there have been no problems. didn't fit in the exact same spot as the OEM but worked fine with a little adjustment on the side of the radiator and the adjustment didn't cause a headache. Comes with all necessary parts, new hoses. great buy, great price. Overall, it took about 25 minutes from opening the hood to closing it at the end. no more oil loss and terrible howling. 10/10 recommend.

Cool as Fonzie. in Coolers and Accessories

Late review. Bought this many years ago. Installed it on a 10 second racer designed for road work. The huge 1-7/8" long tube primary manifolds are too close to the power steering rack, so it was necessary to control the horsepower fluid temperature. Very affordable and factory installed on my 2005 GTO. PS cooler, install a Derale block. Thank you Deral!

Everything you need to get your job done.

Highway brine eats through the stock radiator on my 2005 TrailBlazer. The PSF flowed out the front of the car into a line under the radiator. This kit had everything you need to get the job done. I was very happy with it. In order to do this yourself, you generally have to be inclined towards the car mechanic. Note that the length and area of this cooler is approximately 12" x 3" with a tube running through it twice in a "U" pattern. Compare this cooling surface with your series cooler. (It was
