They are strong, hold their position, flex just enough to be flexible and allow movement. These really shiny laces are made with high quality. They don't feel fragile, but jagged studs can cause them to break. My eyelets are intact so the laces slide and fit perfectly.

I originally ordered 60" laces but they were a little short for my 11" Riedell laces. I reordered the 72" and they fit perfectly, not too long. They have a great grip so I don't have to double knot them like a six year old would. I left the 60's and put them in my work shoes. I get many additions to them.On shoelaces!

A super fun way to add some extra flair to your boring shoes! I bought some weight training shoes but they didn't have any options other than black and white. These funny laces made my shoes even more fun to look at! ;) The laces are rough so they don't slip off when untied. They're thick, so if you have small shoe holes, they can get tight.

My 6 year old daughter asked if I could find rainbow laces to match her hockey tape! In real life they are even cuter! She wore them on the ice for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they tied. I hope they hold up. In some of the other reviews I am concerned about the durability of these laces but for now I am very satisfied and my daughter loves them!

So far, so good! I asked for the 'standard' length on the page but never got an answer so I just bought the 54. They don't hang around. They are very shiny and cute and seem to really stick when they are tied I didn't notice them loosening while skating.

I have several pairs of these laces. This was the only pair that didn't last very long, probably due to the shiny materials. I skate outside all the time and I have to tie my laces pretty tight. I'm not sure why they started loosening so quickly at the attachment point and in the hinge holes. That being said I really support and love the Derby laces and will continue to buy them (love changing my colors) instead I will just buy non-shiny laces.
