looks great and works!

This item does not require wetting prior to use. It goes around the pipe easily, is flexible, looks great and works great! Installation was easy and I get compliments all the time on how it looks. If it can work with the top tubes on my Turbo 3 rotor, I'm sure it can work with most engines.

Pros
  • Fumes and Emissions
Cons
  • Not Safe

Thermal film, mats and sleeves are worth every penny

I've wrapped quite a few pipes over the years and this is the first film I've had no problems with. The fact that I wasn't wearing gloves and had no problems says a lot. I bought a 1 inch titanium 100 inch

Pros
  • Withstands 1800 degrees Fahrenheit direct heat and 2500 degrees intermittent heat
Cons
  • Repair

Do not buy. This is not a DEI product

Original DEI wrap just installed. it is far from the same. immediately began to crumble everywhere. DIDN'T ARRIVE IN YOUR PACKAGING. WAS IN A PLASTIC BAG. REAL HEADLINE DAY. FALSE FRONT LEFT.

Pros
  • Extremely flexible for a tight and secure wrap
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Excellent stuff. My center console works cooler.

An exhaust film or "manifold film" has been around since the 1980s. The product is designed to be wrapped around exhaust pipes and then secured with a stainless steel fastener. The goal is to reduce heat dissipation and improve engine performance. The most desirable property of an on-highway vehicle exhaust system wrap is that it reduces heat dissipation from parts of the exhaust system. The encapsulation of the exhaust manifolds and tailpipes reduces the temperatures under the hood and under…

Pros
  • High resistance to abrasion, oil spills, temperature and vibration failures
Cons
  • The list will be long.
