Works as advertised

I received these in Revain's 'open box' and bought them at half price so I can't speak of full 'value' but they work. The Jeep is definitely quieter inside (as my noise-sensitive friend confirmed) and seems to hold heat a bit better (winter at the time of writing). The stereo quality has also improved slightly. Less of that "someone yells at you with a ton can" that wranglers are known for. Setup is very easy. Just remember to give the roof a thorough cleaning and alcohol rinse first. After you

Insulation not impressed

Installation instructions were easy and the product appears to work well but it is terribly overpriced. The foam is very pliable and will stretch more than you might expect, making installation a bit tricky if you're not careful. The surface finish seems cheap and brittle to me. I noticed several imperfections in the surface pattern. The raw edges of the foam panels give the product a cheap, shabby look. I didn't buy window frames and I'm glad that didn't happen. I can't imagine the sidewalls…

Great for staying cool

Very impressed with the quality of the product. As some reviewers point out this seems like a lot for 3 pieces of styrofoam, I don't see anything special about it other than a coating on the surface. However, they fit perfectly and are very firmly fixed with glue on the back. They include filler strips that prevent the foil from following the contours of the roof, which is a very useful addition. I previously attached self-adhesive foam to the panels of the solar riders and they did not lay…

One person installation, no need to remove cover

This product may seem expensive (because it is), but you get what you pay for. The description does exactly what it promises! - noticeable noise cancellation: now I hear my own thoughts on the freeway - climate insulation also works like clockwork - general feeling of heaviness in the car when driving INSTALLATION: Now the big question. Can you do it yourself without removing the whole lid? YES SIR. And it's actually not that difficult: just stack a few cloths on top of each other and slide…

Work well! (although parts were missing)

I bought a kit for my JK 2016 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. The set arrived in a large box that was a little wrinkled in transit. Although when checking the content it turned out that everything was fine. When I finally got to the installation, I found that the kit was missing two pieces of "groove filler" foam that held up for a smooth assembly on the surface. Since I had the roof off and was waiting for help to put it back on, I went ahead and installed the panels without them. The installation went…

This is the answer to your hot head.

This insulation is almost an inch thick and effectively reduces the heat radiating from above here in the Deep South. Before installation, the air conditioning had to be upstairs, and the heat was still radiating from the top of the head. , Once installed, the air conditioner can be operated at minimum speed all day long. Advantages * The cut-outs match the roof contour exactly and installation is easy. not profiled. Small note - the front parts of the hatch have cutouts for some twistlocks and

OE Quality - Chassis

I've waited a bit to review. I installed it about 6 weeks ago. I live in the desert in the southwest with summer temperatures over 100 degrees. Our Jeep was so hot that the air conditioning was always on full blast and you could still feel the heat radiating off your head from the extreme temperature of the roof. it really helped! it really made a big difference. I was concerned that the temperature would affect how the glue would hold. but so far so good. It also made a big difference in sound

Pay attention to customer service and product quality

Carpet is amazing! I didn't think at first that the price was worth it and the material would end up being a cheap foam I could get anywhere that would be difficult to clean and pick up dust and stains easily. I was pleased to find that the material was thicker, stronger and had a cleanable surface than expected and was easy to install. I found a reduction in road noise, particularly from my roof rack and KC lights, as well as a significant increase in interior temperatures. I turned on the hot
