I've waited a bit to review. I installed it about 6 weeks ago. I live in the desert in the southwest with summer temperatures over 100 degrees. Our Jeep was so hot that the air conditioning was always on full blast and you could still feel the heat radiating off your head from the extreme temperature of the roof. it really helped! it really made a big difference. I was concerned that the temperature would affect how the glue would hold. but so far so good. It also made a big difference in sound absorption. Now people can hear me better when I use bluetooth for calls. I did my best during the installation. I didn't risk just sticking them on while the top was still on the jeep. I spread some heavy blankets on the garage floor and turned the hard top upside down. I also thought it would be a good idea to lay out all the small strips of foam to fit the cut outs in the roof. They are different sizes to fit and fill in the recesses so the larger pieces lay more evenly. I wiped down the inside of the upper with denatured alcohol and a microfiber cloth. I'm telling you......You only get one chance to post this! There is no way to pull it off to move it around a bit…. no I don't know what a sticky surface is, but it's forever. I noticed that the paper liner you remove is in two large pieces. So you put the pieces of foam together with paper inserts and then fold them in half and pull out the insert and then press down. Repeat on the other side and it looks perfect. I even found a way to apply this technique to small pieces of freedom vertices. Two of my friends also bought them for their jeeps and I helped them with theirs. It's worth taking the top off and working on it separately from the jeep itself. i love the product he did it as described. The investment was profitable.
