Exactly what I was hoping for! We installed them in the attic of my barn/studio. They are elegant and work great with a dimmer. I am very satisfied and can only recommend it.

I bought it for hallway lighting. There won't be much light from it, but it looks beautiful. I didn't like that the jar lid was plastic. Suggest using LED fluorescent lamp for brighter light. Updated on 12/31/2020. Guilty. The lid is glass, not plastic.

I bought two of these lights in January and didn't install them until August. One was fine; the second broke, the plastic case holding the bulb when I first tried to screw the bulb in. I want to replace these. The other device looks really good and I need it to match this second device.

They look dignified and beautiful on my bathroom vanity. I put them on dimmer so they can go from night light effect to full brightness. Two important notes: they use a bulb with a small base and they give light up instead of down - one in the hall didn't work as the pattern below was blurred with no light down. The quality is good for the price. I recommend them.

I just installed one of these and what a disappointment. The problem is that the frame completely surrounds the glass, which means the glass never touches the wall. You will always have a gap (frame width, about 1/8 inch) between the glass and the wall. And the problems don't end there. The frame is too big for the glass, leaving about 1/4 inch space between the front of the glass and the surrounding frame. net result? The glass falls forward, touching the frame and leaving an even larger gap…

I bought 4 of these and got a used discount. Headlights are new in original packaging. There's nothing wrong with them! These lights look great and fit. They cost about $40 in a big store. When installed, the balls are set back a little from the wall and let light through at the edges, which in my opinion is not very noticeable. Remember that as the base plate of these lights is mostly flat, you will need a regular electric light box mounted in the wall to leave room for the cord. My setup was…

We bought two of these sconces to cover our fireplace. They really light up the room. It holds a bulb so you don't get too much light from it, but we still wanted a dimmer light than what we had. The frosted glass looks great. Installation was easy. I wish there was a better way to move the light away from the wall a bit. It comes with a nut only, so you can't tighten it a certain distance from the box without rotating the shaft in the box. If you press it against a wall, it can be difficult to
